The biggest ZOO area in the Middle Europe – 288 ha, 1500 animals, 300 species.
The ZOO is located within a scenery of Volovské vrchy Mountains, there is a bobsled in the nearby. Open daily. The only one in Slovakia, which keeps seals, penguins, big-billed toucans. In a rich collection of birds, it offers to the visitors, for example, up to 5 species of hornbills. The attraction is the daily commented feeding of seals, in the high seson also single-banded penguins or brown monkey. The ZOO includes many resting zones, the restaurant, fi replaces established for a picnic in countryside. The attraction is the Lužný les Nature Trail with an obstacle cable line for children. Public transport – BUS No. 29. There is a 5-hectare DinoPark in the ZOO complex.
