Senec became the district town since 1996. To the important historical landmarks belong: church of St. Nicholas Bishop, chapel of Holy Trinity, Immaculate, Turkey House, Column of Shame, Jewish synagogue. The town Senec organizes every year the cultural events, the most important is The Senec Summer, as the opening for summer tourist season and The Great Summer Carnival.
