The observatory founded in 1952 carries out educational, popularizing activities and professional observations in Humenné and at the specialized outpost - the astronomical Observatory on Kolonicke sedlo. The observatory is located in the Dark Sky Park Poloniny in a natural environment on the border of the mountains Vihorlat and Bukovské vrchy. We offer observatory tours, planetarium programs, night sky observations and astronomy lectures.
