The village of Kružlová is located in the northern part of Nízke Beskydy Mountains in the valley of River Svidničanka, 8 km distant from the district town Svidník.
Kružlová is mentioned in 1414 as property of the Cudar family and part of the Makovica dominion. During the passage of the front in 1944, Kružlová was completely destroyed. Heavy fi ghtings took place in the village during the World War II. In the village there is an Orthodox church, the room of war memories. In the cadastre of the village, there is a natural military museum Údolie smrti (Death Valley), which consists of 8 Soviet T-34 tanks lined up in a battle line. Right above the village there is the Rohuľa mountain (595  m.a.s.l.). There are many hiking trails and beautiful nature in the adjacent forests around the village. The village holds 6 Slovak records. As of January 1, 2024, the village had 742 inhabitants. Accommodation is available in the village.
